This picture is one of my favorites, because its filled with some of my favorite people. These three people next to me have been the people i grew up with my entire life. It all began kindergarten year when we all met the first day, when times were so much simpler. We all went to the same grade school and middle school, but got separated in high school, when one of us went to another school. We would do something every week for all four years. This year was the year were we would all kind of fall off, the one on the right is named Nourhan, she is attending prairie state college with a undecided major, next to her is Alexis, she is attending DePaul studying Law. The one in red is me, and the one inn black is Casey, he is attending PNW, studying finance. These three people have been the ones who have always been there for me through thick and thin. I like this picture because over the course of 13 years, there not considered friends, but family.

 Ahhhh amazon the place that has everything we could ever want or need and even better, it can be delivered to your front door. This is the place I work at, I work at amazon MDW7 in Monee IL as a stower. I started working here full time this summer, the starting wage was increased and my cousin told me to apply because he worked there as well. My first day I wore normal work attire, it said to dress as casual and comfortable as possible but I did not think to dress that casual. Walking in I see people walking in pajama pants, after seeing this I knew it would be a very relaxed and "chill" job. In my starting crew there was a Latino couple who did not speak any English. I stepped up to translate, and the senior operations leader liked the way I worked and helped people my first week, so I was promoted within my first couple of weeks of work and yes it came with more pay the next time the building got raises. Eating healthy

 I saw a announcement saying that freshman will begin selecting next semesters schedule, so I decided to be on top of my schedule and make it early. Last semester I created my schedule late and now I have one night lab which is not ideal. I have posted a picture of nutritious food because next semester I've decided to minor in food and nutrition. Eating healthy is something I've always strived to do, but never knew exactly how to do it correctly. I always research what professional soccer players and athletes eat, but our lives are completely different and their diets are designed specifically for them. I want to be able to create my own dietary plan designed for me and most importantly doing it correctly. One other reason for my decision in starting this minor is being able to create a healthy and well balanced diet for my father who has been diagnosed with diabetes.
